Frequently Asked Questions

What ages do you serve?
We serve kids of all ages, birth through adult. We specialize in early intervention.

What services do you provide?

We offer habilitative (preventative) and rehabilitative (therapy) speech and language services. After your free consultation, an evaluation may be recommended in order to determine the need for rehabilitative therapy services. Community-based enrichment programs will be available throughout the year on a variety of topics, such as how to use sign language to promote early communication and how to facilitate early reading.

What types of disorders do you treat?

We specialize in developmental disorders of speech and language, including articulation and phonology (speech sound errors), fluency (stuttering), receptive and expressive language (inability to understand and/or use language appropriately), and literacy (difficulty learning to read).

Where do you offer services?

We are located at 23 Eric Nord Way, Suite 1 in Oberlin, Ohio. Secure telehealth services are available to meet current needs.

Will my insurance company pay for services?

It depends. Some insurance companies cover some types of speech and language services. We are a certified Medicaid and Medicare provider, and are currently in-network with the following insurance plans: Buckeye, CareSource, Molina, Paramount, United Healthcare (UHC), Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), and Medical Mutual.

A Good Faith Estimate is available for those who are uninsured or will otherwise be responsible for paying out-of-pocket costs for services.

When do I pay for services?

Payment is due at the time of service. In some instances a weekly or monthly invoice will be provided, but such arrangements must be made in advance.

What types of payment do you accept?

We currently accept cash, check, or credit card. You may also use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for qualified medical expenses.
